I am a strong leader and take pride in myself for being one. I pride myself on all the tasks performed, and do them to the best of my ability. I was a full-time student at Texas A&M International University for the past 5 years, and I am also a baseball team member. As a dedicated student-athlete, I've honed invaluable skills in time management, teamwork, and perseverance. Balancing rigorous training schedules with academic responsibilities has instilled in me a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive under pressure. Competing in baseball taught me the importance of discipline, resilience, and goal setting. My experiences as a student-athlete have shaped me physically and mentally, instilling qualities highly transferable to any professional setting. I am committed to bringing the same level of dedication, determination, and passion to any challenge I encounter in my career. While being a student-athlete, I was able to maintain a 3.9 GPA throughout undergrad and graduate school, while still being involved with different clubs and committees throughout campus. During the fall, I would find the time to leave Laredo and return to Kingsville to work at HEB to stay on payroll and ensure my job security was safe. All these activities have shaped me into a hard worker and allowed me to never take a moment for granted.
