- Perform intakes and initial assessments with in- and out-patients seeking discounts on hospital services such as laboratory, radiology, and ultrasound, and even hospital bills, then provide them with discounts considering their socioeconomic situation.
- Conduct an interview and evaluation form for patients seeking Philhealth sponsorship (LGU) to guide them through the process and requirements. Also, at the Philheath point of service (POS), those who are eligible for enrolment will be accommodated within three days upon admission to save from hospital bills.
- Writing a social case study report corresponds to one of the requirements in the DOH's MAIP- Medical Assistance to Indigent Patients program for the sending out laboratory and medical services that are not available in the hospital.
- Collaborates with barangay officials, law enforcement, and the DSWD to conduct house inspections and locate the close relatives of neglected/abandoned in/out patients getting medical care at the hospital. Furthermore, in special cases, we cooperate with non-governmental organizations to provide accommodations and facilities for patients in need to thrive.
- Providing referrals such as inter referral agency and endorsement letter to the patient seeking medications, medical services, and financial assistance to the Government organization and non-government organization based on the assessment.
- Deliver counselling to patients who are experiencing difficulties in the hospital, particularly those who require supervision and intervention.
- Undertaking hospital rounds on a daily basis to identify and determine which patients needed assistance
