Maintain drug inventory levels by ordering based on par levels set in our Pharmogistics inventory carousel & management system. Using the carousel to verify deliveries against invoices. Monitor ordering of pharmacy medication stock versus utilization to streamline inventory turns using reports from Pharmogistics, Pyxis ES and Cardinal Order Express for drug rotation. Prepare and update inventory documents each year for physical inventory. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all drugs. Process departmental requisitions and special medication requests using Cardinal Order Express, 503b vendors as well as several direct purchase vendors. Perform order and analysis processing using Omnicell 340b splitting software each day. Compile interdepartmental bills each month in Cardinal Order Express. Request new drug codes as needed. Utilizing the Epic EMR system to validate and approve high cost medication charges daily. Maintain loan/borrow documents to ensure compliance. Work to bring forth any cost savings opportunities with the pharmacy management team. I participate in weekly shortage calls, fluids shortage calls, Leadership calls , Technician Leadership Team meetings and during the height of the pandemic COVID calls. Communicate with customers and staff in a professional manner. Participate in Advis HRSA audits, Premier webinar contract and drug updates, 340b University webinars, 340b Health webinars, VSHP webinars and Cardinal webinars to build on compliance knowledge.
