As a second job I am a shift manager at a local liquor store.

Responsibilities include training new employees and managing a team whenever scheduled. I am trusted to count safes and tills every shift, take requests from customers for ordering product, communicate with suppliers, also to open and close Teals Liquor store for the team.

Along with that, I stock shelves, cashier, interact with customers, help to keep inventory in check, and do general cleaning so Teals Liquor is presentable.

• Weld to print specification, follow quality control to ensure proper product fit up according to Bens structural standards. Observed weld inspection by outside quality control to ensure proper product delivery. Communicated with leads about strategies and improvements, spoke with quality manager to improve on processes. Helped provide leadership for new employees. Made suggestions on ways to improve production and ways to increase profit while improving safety and productivity. I've been available to help outside of required duties and regular required times to accomplish additional goals which improves production and organization within the company. Examples include building racking, barcoding product coming in, and sorting product which sometimes requires working an extra day during the week.

Used leadership ability to help guide and train employees. Welded undercarriages, final assembly lead, paint lead. Trained and lead employees in manufacturing of tank trailers and painting of numerous parts that are required to build tanker trailers. Used safety and management skills to train, teach, encourage, and promote self growth for new employees to keep new hires involved and interested in keeping the company productive and profitable.
