As a Certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, I offer private, individually tailored, one-on-one, tutoring sessions using the structured literacy method. Structured literacy is an effective, scientifically proven method of teaching people with dyslexia to read. It focuses on the systematic teaching of phonological awareness, the use of phonics to decode and encode, word recognition, morphology, and syntax. I have also used this method to successfully teach small groups of children to read.
