I am a resilient and visionary young leader who has turned adversity into advocacy. As a foster youth, LGBTQIA+ individual, and person of color, Iv’e navigated systemic challenges with unshakable determination. Rather than letting these experiences define limitations, I have used them to ignite change — becoming a forceful voice for justice, equity, and empowerment. I have formerly interned for multiple elected officials, contributed to statewide campaigns, and played a pivotal role in restorative justice efforts through organizations like CART. At Perris High School, I founded the Gender & Sexualities Alliance, reigniting inclusive student advocacy across the district. As President of the Black Student Union, I have bridged racial and social justice conversations through voter drives, cultural education, and civic action.
As a Youth Ambassador with CFPIC, I work to advocate for foster youth, ensuring their voices are heard and pushing for appropriate legislation in the state assembly to keep them safe. My role involves collaborating with policymakers, raising awareness about the needs of foster youth, and striving to create a supportive environment that promotes their well-being.
Advanced community initiatives for a more equitable Inland Empire.
As a student advocate at TrueCare, I am responsible for supporting TrueCare employees in conducting workshops focused on mental health awareness and drug overdose prevention. I play a crucial role in facilitating these workshops alongside the employees, ensuring they effectively address the participants' needs.
Appointed as a Youth Ambassador with the California Youth Empowerment Program, I now represents foster youth at the state level, participating in legislative meetings and policy shaping. I have delivered speeches at major protests alongside Congressman Takano, led a mock trial as a defense attorney at Stanford Law School through World Strides, and received honors like the AVID Write-Off recognition across Riverside County.
