- Brought the proof turn-around time to 24-48 hours from the original 4-6 weeks prior to assuming my position.
- Realized an over $10,000 savings in Quarter 1 of 2021 compared to Q1 of 2020 regarding plate material expenditure.
- Currently facilitating the migration from DFR plate material to EFX plate material for improved printing quality utilizing the higher durometer plate material.
- Championing the drive to bring a higher percentage of workload to the digital presses using EPM (enhanced productivity mode) to bring an estimated 25% savings in labor and ink in the digital printing cell.
- Facilitated the migration of the entire Lewisville prepress department to virtual work to insulate from Covid and weather-related delays and interruptions.
- During my time at Fortis in cooperation with the Production team we have seen an overall reduction in quality issues, rejections and complaints around 35% compared to previous year.
