Over the past 30 years I have been in many challenging field environments involving heavy equipment. I have worked in the oil and gas fields, open pit and underground mines, remote Alaska gold fields, pipeline and forestry industries. In these fields I have worked in all aspects of the equipment, from trouble shooting electrical and hydraulic systems, rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders, valve bodies, pumps, gear boxes, and undercarriages. I am able to use manual schematics to solve problems, make parts requisitions and work orders. I am knowledgeable in the welding and machining practices used in the process of rebuilding and fabrication of parts as well as dedicated, able to adapt and learn new procedures, and resourceful problem solver.
