  • As an acquisition utilization specialist, worked as the medical center liaison and advisor on all Lab, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management and Home Oxygen contracts, programs, and services
  • Knowledgeable of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) ,VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR), and other procurement law
  • Collaborated with administrative and clinical services on the development of new requirements packages, pre and post award monitor of all assigned contracts
  • Monitored quality assurance surveillance plans (QUASP) ensuring vendors were providing adequate service to veterans and facility
  • Developed and monitored the closeout and possible de-obligation of unused funds remaining on contracts
  • Currently have contracting officer representative (COR) II certification
  • Was the COR of the dental prosthetics contract and a voting member of the Home Oxygen Respiratory Care Committee with emphasis on contract monitoring for that contract
  • Monitored 23 service contracts and developed approximately 10 major equipment procurement packages yearly for the Alaska VA Healthcare System
  • Involved directly with facility leadership and service line supervisors in developing their contract needs with assisting in cost benefit analysis, statement of work, QUASP, and all required documentation require for the procurement package
  • Procurement packages are reviewed completely by myself and my team to ensure accuracy prior to upload to contracting via FORCE
  • All funding documents (2237's) for these procurements were entered and tracked by me after all procurement documents have been submitted in FORCE
  • Additional duties were timekeeper, alternate approving official, add vendor coordinator, and facility recall coordinator, facility undelivered orders coordinator
  • Assisted all facility government purchase card holders with any issues they may have
  • Provided one on one training with COR's and government purchase cardholders on an as needed basis
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, Vista and CPRS.

PROSTHETICS REPRESENTATIVE
