  • Decontamination receiving and reprocessed soiled instruments for a turn over, same day case or for the next day cases
  • Performing test everyday by using Tossi or new manufacturers that is approved by the hospital
  • Responsibilities are consistently rotated on each every staff
  • Decontamination of soiled instruments from the OR or other departments to be cleaned and sterilized
  • Building and providing code carts to units that needs a code cart that is not expired
  • All staff are rotated for the whole week to be well rounded on tasked responsibilities.
  • Ensured proper sterilization of delicate surgical tools by implementing a thorough inspection process prior to release for use in the operating room.
