At the start of each shift conducts visual safety check on all assigned residents and at the end of each shift, effectively communicates (written or verbal) resident status with next shift.

· Completes incident reports accurately and timely.
· Understands policies pertaining to safety and infection control and demonstrates practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses.
· Promotes a clean, orderly, and safe environment. Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep community and resident property clean.

· Assist with meal service in dining room(s) including assisting with feeding. Understand and follows medically prescribed diets and promotes safe choices and independence in accordance with each residents’ dietary orders and preferences. Assists with hydration in accordance with individual care plan.
