I began my career in 1995 with Wiresat Communications in Ocala Florida. I worked there for 2 years and then took a job with Johnson Communications in Jacksonville Florida doing underground construction of cable plant.
After a year with Johnson, I accepted a position with Wiresat Communications in Tampa Florida, where I worked on everything from the LNA/LNB on the satelite dish, to the headend, to network maintenance and did installs of new services.
In 1991, I accepted a position with Prime Cable in Las Vegas Nevada where I was responsible for FCC proof of performance, sweep and balance, outages and troubleshooting of network issues.
In 1994, I left Prime Cable to move back to Michigan and accepted a position with TCI Communications, which was bought out by AT&T in 2000, and then bought out by Comcast. I have been with Comcast for 30 years and will be retiring from there on Nov. 22nd 2024.
