Accomplishments

  • Student Involvement - Volunteered as faculty member representative for SGA at Jemison High, supervising weekly after school meetings.
  • Student Mentor - Volunteered as temporary student guidance counselor to help resolve student personal issues.
  • Administration - Sat in as Principal in the absence of my principal. Also worked as assistant principal when short staff.
  • Student Progress Conferences - Conducted conferences with parents, administrators, testing specialists and social workers to discuss educational plans designed to promote students' educational/social development.

Additional Information

As an veteran teacher I have been a teacher mentor as well as led several student activities at my school such as black history programs, school pep rally's, and home coming week festivities just to name a few. I attend most of the sporting and after school activities home and away games and I am constantly willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
