Supervisory responsibilities include:
Managing daily work activities for all patrol shifts.
Conducting daily roll calls to discuss crime patterns, problem-solving, and making assignments.
Reviewing law enforcement reports.
Providing technical direction.

During roll call, we discuss patrol-related matters, ensuring that our students and staff members have a safe environment. I also confirm that officers are adequately trained and are following department policy.

I have performed all the duties of a patrol officer and supervisor, coordinating and guiding officers and other department employees in their daily activities. I ensure officers follow department policy and state and federal laws while holding each accountable.

I respond to supervisor requests by officers and monitor officers while handling calls for service.
