Skilled Welder/Pipefitter with 5 years of welding experience and 4 years of pipefitting experience. Proven foreman experience leading crews and running job sites safely and efficiently. Dependable, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship while continuing to grow in the trade.
I am responsible for laying out and installing piping systems using stainless steel tubing and pipe, as well as copper piping for plumbing and HVAC systems. I build sanitary skids directly from blueprints and isometric drawings, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications.
As a Foreman, I lead crews in the field, coordinate daily work activities, and ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining high safety and quality standards. I read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and mechanical plans to properly plan pipe routing, valve placement, tie-ins, and system components. I lay out complete piping systems from prints, verify measurements, and anticipate potential conflicts before installation.
I keep welders productive by fitting and prepping spool pieces, organizing materials, and laying out pipe supports for installation. My experience includes fabricating and installing pipe supports, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring proper alignment and slope where required.
In addition to fitting, I perform welding as needed, including:
• TIG welding stainless steel tubing and pipe
• Stick welding carbon steel pipe
• MIG and dual shield welding on structural steel
I take pride in maintaining high workmanship standards, meeting deadlines, and leading by example in both productivity and safety.
As a Welder/Pipefitter, I am responsible for measuring, cutting, fitting, laying out, and welding stainless steel tubing and schedule pipe in a wide range of sizes. My work includes stainless process piping, mild steel fabrication, and structural steel projects. I also perform maintenance and repair work on pumps, valves, silos, and rigging systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
I interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&IDs to accurately lay out piping systems, verify tie-in points, and ensure proper alignment, slope, and system functionality. I take pride in producing clean, precise fit-ups that meet both quality and code requirements.
In my current role as Lead, I walk down and quote jobs, assess field conditions, and plan the scope of work from start to finish. I pull field measurements, coordinate material needs, and organize workflow to keep two to three welders consistently productive. I manage job setup, assign tasks, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.
I am also responsible for securing and managing required documentation and permits, including hot work permits, food safety documentation, and confined space permits for installations. I maintain compliance with site safety policies and industry regulations while ensuring projects are completed efficiently and professionally
Operated an overhead crane to transport and position cold-formed C-channels (18GA–10GA) for fabrication. Fitted, tack-welded, and fully welded various clip assemblies according to blueprints, ensuring accuracy through quality checks prior to final weld-out. Painted finished welds to match channel coatings and organized completed materials into properly sequenced bundles for shipment. Loaded finished bundles onto flatbed trailers using an overhead crane.
Also operated a press brake and ironworker to form and punch components as required, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment through daily housekeeping.
In this role, I performed precision welding and fabrication on stainless steel, mild steel, and galvanized materials using both MIG and TIG processes. I was responsible for the full fabrication lifecycle — from cutting, prepping, and forming materials to final weld assembly — ensuring all work met blueprint specifications and quality standards.
Using industrial equipment including shears and band saws, I fabricated both sheet metal and structural components. Projects included the construction of sheet metal hoppers, structural frames, and other custom metal assemblies. I consistently maintained a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and craftsmanship while delivering durable, high-quality finished products.
