Leader of 6 sigma projects implementation for supplier quality gear pumps line. Supplier Quality support for GPS Value stream.

1.- IAAS Controls for COPQ and Quarantine Materials and Non Conforming Material.

4.- External audits: CQMS, CAV IPV, QG, IQA, Paint.

SQE Manager to support Caterpillar's internal and external customers.
In this period of time I was able to support the Caterpillar Plant 3 in Monterrey focused on following products: Manufacturing Products and Welding, Hydraulic Equipment Machining and Caterpillar Cab Assembly and Fabrication.
Products in which I have experience from a development and quality perspective: Metal products and welding with painting, machining, steels, harnesses, plastics, seats, glass, windows, electronic equipment and cab assembly.
Leadership and team management, as well as 6 sigma project development.

Supplier Quality audits to Supplier plants (BIQ and PDI).
Processes addressed: FAST RESPONSE, COPQ, RCCA, A3, 8Ds, 6 Sigma, Skilll matrix development, Control tower, Cost recovery, IQA.

Development of improvement projects focused on foreign suppliers and resolution of quality problems with critical suppliers by applying Lean 6 Sigma tools.
During this Pandemic period, priority was given to follow up on the development of the Incoming Quality areas in PDI, Core Tools and supplier development in A3 tool for supplier quality problem solving.
Development of Lean training for the supplier development team and SQE.
Development of Onboarding 6 sigma project for suppliers.

Main products supported: Electronics, metallics, paint and iron castings.

Development of suppliers in Mexico (Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, Durango, Chihuahua, Queretaro) that service Caterpillar plants in the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Europe.
Development of PPAP and use of Core Tools for supplier development. Use of ETQ, Deviations, PCN, PPAP and NPIs.
Use of A3, RCCA, Fish bone, 6 M, 8Ds tools for root cause analysis.
Main products: Carbon steel fabricated components, Casting and steel plates, with painting, packaging design, heavy fabs, light fabs.
