• Manage personnel issues and supervision.

• Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service.

• Ensure employees are aware of expectations, are properly trained, and are held accountable for their actions.

• Oversee general operations of the Branch and develop strong business relationships with customers.

• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures including safety (HACCP, OSHA), personnel, security, pest control, and shrink control.

• Review financial and operational reports and take necessary actions based on report results.
,
• Direct subordinates to ensure timely and accurate management of all warehouse operations including safety, sanitation, inventory, merchandising, receiving, stocking, order pulling, shipping, and in-store customer service.
,
• Define the service standards and operational mission of the branch, communicate it to employees, and monitor activities to meet branch goals.
,
• Maximize sales opportunities by ensuring high levels of customer service and proper scheduling of the workforce while meeting budgetary guidelines.
,
• Manage selection, annual performance appraisals, and professional development of all management level personnel.
,
• Directly supervise and manage department managers, coaching them on employee relation issues.
,
• Maintain communication with Corporate Offices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
,
• Review inventory on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and product availability.
,
• Complete and process necessary reports and paperwork accurately and timely.
,
• Assume special projects and responsibilities as required.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).
,
• Minimum 4 years management experience in food service or grocery distribution in a supermarket, club warehouse, big box, or mass merchandising environment.
,
• Background in P&L, inventory control, merchandising, hiring/training staff, front end operations, cash control, payroll, and security/loss prevention is mandatory.
,
• Strong leadership skills capable of running a high volume warehouse operation.
,
• Excellent communication, organizational, and people management/training skills.
,
• Extremely customer service oriented.
