Work History

Technical Project Lead OASIS/CIS

Clarivate - ProQuest
11.2022 - Current
  • Managed the Print migration projects with our 3rd party distribution partnerships with both James Bennett & Baker & Taylor. The project was divided into 2 phases, “JB project” and “BT project’. The duration was approx. 5 months with several months of post follow up with JB and the Baker Taylor integration was over a year and are currently in the Post migration cleanup stage. We moved the entire business relationship from one partner to another. This included moving and building new data sharing processes, shared order management, inventory control, purchasing, invoicing and integrated shared reporting.
  • Collaborated with product & business owners to define clear user requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for the development team across 2 very different business teams. This included writing, updating, and maintaining Confluence project documentation across the multiple on-going projects.
  • Roadmap development which lead to producing detailed JIRA projects (user stories), developed the specifications/project details and outlined the acceptance criteria for each of the user stories developed and deployed.
  • Worked with both the Clarivate internal product/Devs teams and the JB/BT external product/Dev teams to build , develop and complete many sub projects and rolling all of this into the overall migration project. This included needing to integrate the Dev work done by both parties so we could test and deploy changes together as one team.
  • We had to work with every single department on both the Clarivate print business side and 3rd part supplier side. ( Customer service, data services, product, IT, order management, configurations, Cataloguing and Processing teams, Billing and Finance teams).Facilitated & managed communication with our 3rd party partners through regular meetings, status reports, and documentation updates across the departments.
  • Developed and reported on the metrics that we built to manage our progress from inception to project completion. This included , building dashboards, Gantt charts, task lists, spreadsheets and using tracks to break the project into trackable sections for reporting to management.
  • Conducted regular progress reviews with users and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment on project objectives and expectations.
  • Once all of the tools, dev work and training was completed, we had to migrate approximately 675 Customer accounts working to some very aggressive timelines.
