  • 2017, Received an award and recognition at the Bi-annual suggestion scheme on the theme, "Improvement in Equipment Efficiency" held by Mumbai Refinery - Suggested using a plate exchanger for higher heat transfer and reduction of reboiler steam consumption by 25 metric tons/day in the Amine regeneration unit, yearly saving cost of almost ~$166,000 USD.
  • 2019, Received recognition for preventing an unexpected shutdown in the Diesel hydro-desulfurization plant - A pinhole leak in the tube side outlet stub of 120-E-107C shell and tube exchanger (containing hot effluents of reactor along with unreacted hydrogen at 40 kg/cm2 pressure) was observed in routine checkup; upon smothering steam and lowering the temperature of leaking stud, an unexpected shutdown was prevented.
