  • IT leader for major NA Midwest retailer. Partnering to build multiple Digital Cloud transformation, Application Modernization and AMS transformation engagements across enterprise.
  • Peak time size of 650+ software engineers across multiple geographies.
  • Select key consulted and executed projects:

1. Warehouse Management System Modernization - transformation and modernization of a 30+ year old legacy custom WMS onto the Azure cloud as a complete PaaS. Unique value proposition was to maintain the 2 worlds in sync through a development life-cycle of 4+ years

2. Data and Analytics transformation - assessing the need to replace a legacy data warehouse system built on Teradata onto the Azure synapse cloud providing the benefits of using AI and ML

3. Enterprise Mobility - replacing legacy store handheld devices with new devices by building a cross-platform app built using Xamarin tech. stack. Ideating and building the value map for the store team members across different portfolios and providing a value realization framework to assess the utilization of the new app. The ultimate result was improvement in CSAT as store associates spent more time with the customers and could focus on clienteling

4. Pharmacy transformation - Design thinking led transformation helping the customer to realize the essential need of fixing the communication mechanism and then building a fast time-to-market app using PWA tech. stack to completely change the customer interaction process and thereby increasing the NPS. The results were proven through the implementation of COVID vaccination program supporting the state of Michigan

5. AMS operating model transformation - ITIL principle oriented transformation bringing in reliability engineering practices into the organization. Digital operations to run the eCommerce and mobile applications to scale up for the increasing online orders and enable a smooth omnichannel experience. Tool and policy driven operating model with focus and stress on automation and resiliency

6. Financial Inventory Modernization - Modernizing one of the most complicated, convoluted and critical system in the estate. Phased approach of reverse and forward engineering along with business process changes

7. Logistics and Distribution - Worked to improve upon the key functions in Logistics to make the systems more efficient and enable the warehouse users to improve upon their throughput.

8. Demand Forecasting and Replenishment - Worked with product vendor (Blue Yonder) in providing functional expertise to enable business transformation and improve the existing processes. Part of supporting a major upgrade of the ERP system in ensuring that the business as usual activities are not impacted.
