research projects

Project Title-1: Exploring the Interplay between groundwater and precipitation.

This case study represents a cutting-edge investigation into the intricate nexus between groundwater dynamics and

precipitation patterns, positioning itself at the forefront of global water resource management challenges. Employing

sophisticated tools from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and drawing on datasets meticulously compiled

by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the research scrutinizes the interplay between

groundwater and precipitation within a specified geographic region.

Project Title-2: Peak Flow Frequency Analysis for an Urbanized Watershed

In this study, the number of flood peak flow occurrences in a Missouri urbanized watershed is estimated using the

annual flood peak flows information from a US Geological Survey (USGS) gaging station (USGS 05514860 Dardenne

Creek at Old Town St. Peters, MO) &(USGS 05514840Dardenne Creek at O'Fallon, MO). It was aimed to establish

the water level for some specific AEP events to be used for the implementation of infrastructure design and flood

management strategies. The data was fitted to a system curve for estimating the peak flow values. The years of records

was 20 and covered the chosen area to collect and analyze the daily data.

Project Title-3: Comparative evaluation on agricultural waste management (Research)

In this study it deals with A possible research paper topic is comparative evaluation, between USA, India and Japan

on agricultural wastes management, focus on corn (USA, corn stover), rice (India and Japan, rice husks).By using

data from link: https://fas.usda.gov/data/production/commodity/0422110.

Project Title-4: Assessing the Impacts of Flow Diversion on Juvenile Chinook Salmon Habitat in the Lower

reach of Lemhi River

In this study I investigated the effects of flow diversion on Juvenile Chinook salmon habitats in the lower Lemhi

River using a coupled 1D-2D hydrodynamic model.
