Im currently studying to be an architect and enjoy this professions a lot so far. During my studio design classes, each project we have to 3D model in software, then render it in order to bring the piece to life. After making it look pretty, we physically model the building to a scaled limit in order to see real life perspective. I currently have made 7 models, each with precise cut outs and filled with high end detail. The variety consisting of one fully custom designed house for a photographer; a child development center designed after a cuttlefish; a unique and eye catching clock tower; a meditation space/garden; a custom designed donut shop; a 2 story 20 unit student housing complex, fit with shops, eateries, gym, courtyard; and finally a fully custom build Olympic village designed after a seashell, with the intent of housing the Olympians in 2028 with a site location at the Long Beach Pike. This is a parking, restaurant, apartment complex, store unit, all compacted and designed together. Each row overlooks a plaza with many tensile roof structures to accommodate shading. A perfect utopia for living by the beach.
