• Worked as part of a team for an application named Digital Coach, an AI powered interview preparation platform. The application provided AI feedback, emotion detection, facial recognition, and real time questions to simulate real interviews. Entered the Ansary Entrepreneurship Competition, making it to the semifinals.
• Worked as part of a team to build a music recommender, allowing users to enter their preferences, get recommendations, display the most popular artists, and properly save and quit after making changes to a file.
• Created a prediction model as part of a final project for my Machine Learning class that predicted outcomes of NBA games using RidgeClassifier, along with various statistics for each game.
• Created a bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory sequential model to identify hate speech in Twitter/X threads. Also created a recurrent neural network model to test the power of using LSTM to create more accurate models. The LSTM model achieved an accuracy of about 90% compared to the 50% of the RNN model, proving the strength of LSTM models.
• Helped to create an application to help people develop their vocabulary by practicing using a different challenging word in a sentence each day, that was fact checked using generative AI as a part of a course project for my Human-Computer Interaction course.
• Worked in a group on a final project for my Machine Learning: Fundamentals and Applications course that involved training a classification model to predict various company's bankruptcy status. The project require feature extraction, unsupervised learning clustering techniques, and building classification and stacking models for prediction. The project doubled as a competition between groups in the class, where we achieved 2nd out of 9 participating teams.
