  • Daily tasks included check preparation and deposit into our corresponding bank. Those checks were received from our customers, statewide and overseas. Using the in-house software, I also applied payments to customers' corresponding open invoices; this was done daily. I was responsible for processing the monthly statements of our customers. I normally process 300 to 500 statements at a time.
  • Assisted the Finance/Accounting Manager in the preparation of financial statements using accounting principles and techniques. Processed bills for payment. We normally paid our vendors with checks. If checks are not readily available, and our vendors require ASAP payment, we processed it via wire transfer. Ensured that transaction details in accounting software match those on bank account statements, and other financial statements.
  • Financial record-keeping maintained financial records, including physical and electronic systems, and ensured proper documentation of expenses. Bank reconciliations: Compared a company's financial records to bank statements to ensure data integrity and correct discrepancies
  • Assisted with payroll, including verifying timesheets, calculating vacation and sick days, and preparing checks. Reconciled transaction, budget, and expense reports for monthly reporting.
