Romuel Peterson

• As a student worker at my university's student center I worked at many establishments including:

- Core Eatery

- Halal Shack

- Panda Express

- Tomato Wheel (Pizzeria)

My responsibilities included:

• Preparing and serving food to my fellow students while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization, while monitoring inventory levels of food and supplies
• Greeting customers and handling any and all inquires they may have.
• Another responsibility that came with my role was upholding the Student Center role as a hub of student life on campus by getting to know the people that were not only my customer but my fellow students.

• Aiding boys from East Harlem by providing :

- High-quality academic enrichment,
- Swimming instruction,
- Athletics, Artistic, Musical, STEM, and social-emotional support,

over the summer to advance education equity, and to give back to my middle school community.

• Collaborated with staff to establish and maintain supportive and structured environment.
• Supervised my group during activities to prevent injuries and accidents.
