Contracted into Inland Fisher Guide -Technology Developement

• Developed new design concepts and modified those concepts based on Engineering feedback. Revised several Designs to make them manufacturable. Designed Power Sliding Door Power closers, revised design for Mini Wedge Door Latch, the Super Plug Door module, and several cost reducing Door modules for GM Production Vehicles.

• Developed interior for GM APV vehicles. Developed design from the drafting table to vehicle bucks. Directed and Constructed Vehicle bucks showcasing department design concepts as part of my duties. Supervised tooling shop and and built Door modules for GM Production test vehicles.

• Developed new designs from production-based parts to create a Heavy Equipment Transporter for the M1 Abrams Tank. I was involved with Cab, Door and Hood designs to meet American and European City layout configurations. Also worked on Wiring Bundle Design, Connectors and Energy requirements for 12V systems.

• Ford Motor – Contract - AeroDetroit. - Brought in to Americanize the Ford Fiesta and was in charge of Creating a complete data/Blueprint collection System for NA Production of this vehicle I also worked on the New Large Car (Fox Body) Program.
• General Motors. Contracted thru AeroDetroit - Layout Design for F-Body program – Body Sides and Decklid layouts for tool making. Also Large Van interior Trim Design – Rear Quarter Panels and Door Trims
• Ford Motor - Time Engineering - Was brought in to facilitate a department move that brought all the Data Systems I was in charge of in my first job, as well as 80 designers and their equipment, 65 drafting boards and 25 CAD stations. I was responsible for the complete Design layout for the room , CAD area, 3 department offices and the File room. This was my only duty. I was given 12 weeks to complete. I also supervised the move- from old building to new building.
• Hartman-Fabco Material Moving Systems , INC
Lansing Michigan. Designer. In this job, the requirements were to design sand, rock, and gravel equipment for that industry. Conveyors,both light and heavy duty were designed using specs from the jobsite. A computer program was used to determine dept and gage of the conveyors based on the engineering specs provides. It was my job to design, check and the supervise the building of all components for the customer.
