Accomplishments

  • Created the #1 top-selling credited photo cover for US Weekly magazine, Issue #590, June 5, 2006-11-27, selling 1.5 million copies in 4 days. Cover photos were for Janet Jackson's September 2006 release, “20 y.o.”

  • Created portraits of the first generation of children born with AIDS in the early 80s. The series raised $7,500 for the Joey Dipaolo Aids Foundation and received public profiling. Actor Nathan Lane and musician Fred Schneider (of the B-52s) purchased prints.

  • Shot the last portrait photos of actor/writer Quentin Crisp before his death in November 1999. The portraiture was a study on the effects of character change on personality and effect of fashion as a protective device. Newsweek used the photos in a retrospective on Crisp' life.

  • Photographed Warren Buffet in Omaha, Nebraska on a special assignment.
