I currently work at COBJAX TRAILING EDGE FLAPS SHOP (TEFS) I perform repairs and mods to the metal and composite structures . I formerly was a dual status Federal employee. On the civilian side I am senior airframes structural mechanic with more than 15 years of depot level repair experience. On the military side I hold the rank of Sergeant First Class in a CH-47F flight company. My role is the acting First Sergeant. I have been in the role as Platoon Sergeant tasked with looking after as many as 40 soldiers, Quality Control Supervisor, Technical Inspector and Additional Duty safety officer while deployed . On a daily basis I perform critical close tolerance drilling, reaming, and honing of holes to the many structures of the CH-47F, UH-60M and UH-72. I have extensive knowledge and have demonstrated the ability to interpret and work from blueprints, technical directives, airframe changes, and other written instructions related to the process of repairing the aircraft assigned at AASF#1. Within the airframes shop I am the only certified Depot level Advanced Composites repairer.

  • Routinely collaborated with engineers and Logistics Assistance Representatives (LARS) in the repair of tactical aircraft in combat zones.
