• Responded to service calls and troubleshot systems.
• Tested and inspected fire alarm systems. Mostly Simplex Systems. 4100ES, 4010ES, 4010 Legacy, 4007ES, 4006, 4005, 4004, 4002, and 4001. Some Honeywell, Some Micron, and a few Siemens fire alarm systems.

Served as Fire & Safety Officer from March 2012 until December 2019. Duties included maintaining fire equipment. Such as hydro tested standpipe hose, performed routine maintenance on dry chemical and water extinguishers, conducted monthly AED inspections. Ensured annual fire alarm inspection, quarterly sprinkler inspections, semiannual kitchen hood and fuel island suppression systems were tested by outside contractors. Conducted monthly environmental inspections in all facility buildings.

Produced S-Camshaft for braking systems.

Served onboard the USS Chosin CG-65. Duties included ship’s fire and damage control response, maintaining fire fighting equipment, welder, fabricator, stood various engine room watches, and maintained the collection, holding, and transfer of sewage.
