05.2023 - 09.2024
In my first behavior tech job, designated as an RBT2, I was responsible for maintaining the safety, dignity, and programming of typically 1-2 clients per day, many of whom are nonverbal and have significant behavioral needs.
The age range of my clients at CBPI was wide, ages 4-18, in a variety of settings: home, school, and at the company's center/clinic.
I have been trained to manage and have handled firsthand low-level and severe behaviors, managing incidents involving physical aggression (scratching, biting, hitting, etc.), elopement (running into unsafe areas and away from staff), disrobing, and inappropriate or uncontrolled bodily functions.
I am responsible for recording any and all data for my students throughout sessions, including step-by-step ABC data post-escalations of high severity, daily session notes, and communication logs. I am occasionally responsible for data analysis on any behaviors that occur throughout a 1-2 week span to identify the trends of a client's behavior.
