Ronan Heykoop

Ronan Heykoop is a Juinor at Arizona State University. The DC area native studies Sports Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Ronan’s passion for sports - and talking about sports – started at a young age. Ronan played high-level club soccer and golf, competing in American Junior Golf Association tournaments. Earning varsity letters in both sports. Ronan's career in Journalism started early in high school, where he helped create a regionally recognized Broadcast Journalism program. Broadcasting is his passion, both in Play-by-Play and Production work. In addition to Broadcasting, Ronan works as a Producer, On-Air Talent and Graphic Designer at Arizona State, working with various collegiate and professional organizations.

• Established "The Pack" at Tuscarora High school transforming the original school paper into a Multi-media publication. Held of the position of Editor in Chief overseeing a monthly magazine, 80+ live sports broadcasts, a dozen podcasts, and the school's morning show. Oversaw all out going content ensuring it was up to standards of the publication but also followed school mandates. Was in charge of finding advertisers and managing the Publications connection with the Booster Club. Work Caught the attention off the Washington Post.
