  • As designated contact for Jones Lang LaSalle I resolved 1 years’ worth of unpaid invoices, streamlined their billing process, and reduced their time to payment within 30 days, well below their payment terms of Net 90. As of December 2020, revenue recognized by this effort = $1.6M.
  • My knowledge of government contracts and the FAR allowed me to escalate settlement to the Air Force ombudsman at the U.S. Pentagon and receive payment of invoices over a year past due. In some cases, this included the addition of interest.
  • Worked with account managers, directors, CFO, accounts receivable and billing associates to define job contract and billing requirements, assuring accurate account set up, billings, and revenue recognition within the legal scope of our requirements.
  • After a year of working with domestic & Canadian customers, I was asked to lead revenue recognition for the AVI-SPL UK office.
  • Created an in-depth UK customer aging report from their AX system.
  • Initiated a new job setup practice resulting in reduced aging from $10M to $3M. It also lowered the number of credit/rebills required due to incorrect billing and increased revenue recognition.
  • Drove process improvements in finance to increase the understanding of contract and billing requirements, increase accuracy of our billings and improve overall customer service with customers requiring customized billing.

  • Provided weekly/monthly/quarterly budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and profit & loss analysis to senior leadership. Included the details of individual cost elements which comprised the total financial structure.
