I have 5 plus years as a welder, three phase mechanic ,and machinist. I have worked on flow lines in production and assembly. I drove flat beds and box trucks when I was working for General Steel and McBroom Electric; I drove all over Indiana and surrounding states, loading and unloading steel and electric motors. I've worked in sales, as a roofer, as a hotel clerk and at several Steel fab, job shops, field work: I worked as a machinist for 3 plus years at McBroom Electric and two years running a multiturret machining center for Apex Mfg. I've worked the last 6+ years at Cook Medical as a Quality Control Inspector; I've been an inspector for Cowan Transmission for about 18 months. I just finished a position with a company in Bloomington as a machine operator trainee. I think I'm easily trainable to almost anything in a job shop; I hunger to learn. I'm interested in finding an opportunity for growth, for the chance to improve my skill set, and to make a difference for my employer. I'm currently retired and the hours suggested in the add fit my schedule perfectly. I have three reliable vehicles with insurance on each one. I'm not afraid of hard work or getting my hands dirty. I hope we can possibly help one another; I look forward to your reply, thank you, Ron Short.
