• As of April 2021, when I was selected for promotion from Associate to Area Manager, the team I inherited was ranked 17th out of ## Grocery Distribution Centers in the South Eastern Division of Wal-Mart Logistics. The team I lead (Dry Shipping RSR) averaged 24.9 Pallets Per Hour (PPH) before April of 2021. Since April, the RSR team is now ranked 4th in the South Eastern Division, with our average PPH being 29.4. During the month of November 2021, the team averaged 34.8 Pallets Per Hour and was ranked 1st in the South Eastern Division. This strong turn-around was ultimately due to the team that I lead working safely, productively, and being extremely proactive. I was able to garner the team’s respect and explicate their work ethic by learning everyone’s strengths and weaknesses and working to expand and improve on them as individuals and a team as a whole
• Implemented a process upgrade for all shipping teams by adding a butcher paper dispenser at the beginning of pet food trips. This project has been determined to have a cost savings of $2,000 with a focus of having better quality pet food trips.
