- As a long standing employee I have been apart of alot of different new operations.
- When I began I did alot of cleaning and sanitary jobs.
- My first jobs were more on the inventory and quality control side.
- The next level of operations I stepped to was more of the technical side of breeding and selection of stock.
- Now I offer sales to customers and delegate day to day operations to co-workers.

- As a technician II I was responsible for the day to day responsibilities.
- I was not only responsible for answering customer orders, but I was also in charge of doing all operations in the area.
- Which includes breeding the animals.
- The next process was the litter count.
- After this process you had to wean the pups from the mother.
- Finally you separated the animal by sex and housed them.

- In this position I learned how to do the different types of operations in the barrier rooms.
- I was taught the difference between each process.
- The different techniques of how to caretaking for the different strains of product.

- I read different Standard Operating Procedures to learn the various operations of the job.
- There was a lot of washing of equipment to ensure optimal sanitation which is essential in a sterile barrier environment.
- As a member of the barrier team I was also required to read the MSDS manual for proper knowledge of what chemicals I would be using and what its ingredients were.
