  • In the lubricants department I worked as a Gauger who’s daily activities included Tank movements and Tank gauges as well as loading of trucks (Big Rigs), tank cars and ships.
  • I worked for 14 years in the Lubricants department until it closed. During that time I coordinated numerous Turnarounds in two Hydrotreaters as well as a Solvent extraction plant. I was involved in New equipment projects as well as TDC projects. I created several Programs to help the units run safer and more efficiently. After the lubricants department closed I was moved to Delayed Coking.
  • In Delayed Coking I have worked as a Coke Cutter, Gas plant operator, Structure operator, Outside Hydrotreater operator, Hydrotreater Board operator, a Temporary Shift Team Leader and am currently the permanent STL for Team 4.
  • As a TSTL I oversee eight operators, The safe operation of said units, payroll and daily management of my team. (ETC)
  • In 2009 I was involved in the successful TDC upgrade project. I was involved in building new graphic displays, Cutting over shut down systems and Training of the operators. We were able to transition seamlessly without safety or environmental incident.
  • In 2010 I was a night shift coordinator for the DCU turnaround. My area of responsibility was overseeing all of the gas plant turnaround activities.
  • I was involved in the successful 2011 DHT turnaround. I was the night shift coordinator overseeing all turnaround activities on nights. This turnaround was completed ahead of schedule and without any safety or environmental issues.
  • In 2014 I was the lead coordinator of the successful DHT, HGHT, CGDP, CWT and Flare Field. Zero environmental and safety incidents, we came in under budget and two weeks early.
  • In 2015 I transitioned into the OMC (Operations Maintenance coordinators) Role and am currently working in that position. This involves using GSAP to approve, prioritize and schedule work. I interface with the various maintenance leads on a daily basis.
