During the Covid shut-down, I began to color in the adult coloring book given to me to pass the time. Well, now that's what I look forward to during our standard testing days at school while I monitor the hallways.
My minor in college was ART. However, I have not had the privilege of using those skills as I would have like to.
I know this is a long shot of appling for this position.
I've been an ESL paraprofessional for 34 years. There are times when I have to assist my non-English speaking students in the Art classes and wish I could stay there all day.
I'm a fast learner, and would love to end my educational career as an Art teacher, even though I do not have a teacher's certification.
So if push comes to shove, and you can not find a young whipper snapper, please consider my application.
Thank you,
Rosa Cervantes
