Additional Information

I bring a unique background of Human Resources and Operations experience in mid to large public sector agencies. During my time at DART, I assisted the agency recover from record high attrition after losing just over 10% of its workforce during the pandemic. This was accomplished through the creation of an Organization Development & Training Division that focused on People Leader training for frontline Supervisors and the implementation of a culture movement (#WeAreDART). Created HR strategy to align with new leadership after transitioning to a new CEO after 20 plus years of prior leadership. Assisted CEO with restructuring organization for operational efficiencies. Together with CEO's guidance, modernized and simplifed total rewards package for employees. I also transitioned the Department from an outdated HRIS system to Workday in 2021.

I am very comfortable presenting to Boards and Executives and have been part of the Executive Leadership team for over fifteen years now. I have grown up in Human Resources and therefore am familiar with all aspects of the field. I have been told my particular strengths are my ability to connect with everyone from the front line worker to the Executive, lead by example and remain flexible in changing environments. I am also bilingual with the ability to read, write and speak Spanish.
