Responsible for the hiring, supervision and coordination of school staff and instructional programs
Supervise and evaluate a staff of 65 persons including teaching staff, teacher aides, and custodial staff

Develop academic programs, monitor students achievement and work with teachers to develop and maintain high curriculum standards
Responsible for parent relations student discipline, preparing and administrating building budgets
Professional expertise includes implementing, developing collaborative partnerships with outside agencies and organizations, strategic planning, instructional programming for culturally and linguistically diverse student populations
Planned and implemented a Dual Language Academy in kindergarten – 2009
This long standing model has been replicated at all the elementary school in Port Chester
Currently serving as a member of the Park Avenue School Advisory Board and have implemented a full service communitiy school model in partnership with Family Services of Westchester Center., Manhattanville College, and Open Door Family Medical Centers
Currently working with the Deputy Superintendent to implement American Reading Company framework for literacy in English and Spanish in grades K-5
Attended conferences and received training on implementing a full-service, community school from the Harvard Collaborative for Integrated School Services, and the National Technical Assistance Center for Community Schools
Attended ongoing training at the The Prinicpals Center - Harvard University Graduate School of Eduction.
