  • Supervise and evaluate a staff of 65 persons including teaching staff, teacher aides, and custodial staff
  • Set standards and goals, established policies and procedures to achieve those goals
  • Develop academic programs, monitor students achievement and work with teachers to develop and maintain high curriculum standards
  • Responsible for parent relations student discipline, preparing and administrating building budgets
  • Professional expertise includes implementing, developing collaborative partnerships with outside agencies and organizations, strategic planning, instructional programming for culturally and linguistically diverse student populations
  • Planned and implemented a Dual Language Academy in kindergarten – 2009
  • This long standing model has been replicated at all the elementary school in Port Chester
  • Currently serving as a member of the Park Avenue School Advisory Board and have implemented a full service communitiy school model in partnership with Family Services of Westchester Center., Manhattanville College, and Open Door Family Medical Centers

  • Attended conferences and received training on implementing a full-service, community school from the Harvard Collaborative for Integrated School Services, and the National Technical Assistance Center for Community Schools
