  • Start the line by verifying each machine, making sure the machines are in spec before starting production.
  • Clean the area to check for any foreign objects that don't belong on the line, and that could potentially cause safety and quality issues.
  • Pass the first good part to measure; the bag is in spec, making sure we're always building quality parts.
  • If we encounter a suspicious bag that does not look or feel right, we notify our AMT and/or our quality engineer to check the bag for safety and quality, as it is our #1 priority to ensure we build perfect and safe parts for our customers.
  • We have a daily demand from our customers that we must meet, accordingly.
  • As a trainer in my line of work, I am responsible for making sure my team is safe, that we are being productive, and that we are always doing quality work.

  • Passed boards through a schimid washer to get washed.
  • I had to check the thickness of the board to know how slowly I should run the machine.
  • Conduct the Omega Test according to the customer's wants.
  • Counted number of boards before taking them to the next process.
  • Signed traveler with date, employee number, and number of boards, then called out of dispatch.
  • I took the boards to the indicated location.
  • Hand Finish - Some customers and boards required a hand finish job because the process before involved the boards getting cut, and they weren't cut well by the machine.
  • Must know what material the boards were made of, to know what to do and what not to do.
