Operator 1
I started as a machine operator, learned to operate Injection molding machinery. Followed the correct procedures, production, and quality standards needed for the task assigned that day. Sorted through freshly made parts for any defects or damage. Packaged and signed scrap paperwork, and labels needed for all part numbers made. Following all safety PPE protocols and keeping safe tidy workplace.
1st Shift Lead Operator
I became the Lead Operator of the first shift.t. Assigned and lead operators to produce good quality products. Quality control ensures good-quality production. Following the steps to check and complete accurate quality checks three or more times a shift. Supervising operators and the floor to guarantee that operators are on task, and production is up to qualified standards. As the lead I'm in charge of giving breaks to each of my operators. Helping hand on the floor as much as possible, covering or assisting in any tasks needed. Keeping a safe and clean workplace for me and my team. Recording all necessary paperwork needed for my shift. Communicating with the following shifts to ensure they know the qualified procedures for the floor each day.
Order Puller
As an order puller, I used a hand pallet jack and a FR gun scanner. I would scan the correct locations and collect the right amount of product from that pick. After my order is complete, I drop my pallet off on the dock in the correct sequence. Followed the qualified time production needed for each order.
Trainer
We began training our new hires. They would work beside me for a week before starting to work alone. Followed the new hire checklist, each day would be a further step to leading them to be able to operate efficiently and to achieve the required time production.
E-commerce Puller
Cross-trained to pull the online orders for the online shoppers and Mardel. This task required me to collect paperwork that contained the locations and labels of the merchandise. I would sign off on everything I completed and turn it in to the leads when complete. Dropped pallets of finished work to auditors who then proof work and make sure paperwork is accurate to products. I followed the time quota for all orders during that shift.
Auditor
Cross-trained to audit for e-commerce and Mardel. After the e-commerce pullers dropped off their pallets, a few auditors and I worked as a team to count and match the products to the paperwork. I made sure all stickers and labels were on the boxes as needed before hand-wrapping and sending them off to ship. If I am not able to find the correct product, or if the count is off, I would go and find the accurate product or count. Signing off on any paperwork we worked on for the day.
Re-stocker
Stocked products for order pullers to pick. Migrated pallets of product to where they belonged.
Team Lead
Cross-trained to a team leader. Accomplished ACT WorkKeys and received a Gold certificate for completing Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents.
Order Picker
As an order picker, I was trained to operate an order picker forklift. I used a FR gun scanner to locate and scan the product. I picked for non-con orders, which contain products over a certain weight. Followed the correct quota for the non-con orders. The scanner would send me to different locations in the pallet racking, where I then have to locate, scan, find the correct merchandise, and scan the correct SKU. Followed all safety precautions and procedures needed to operate heavy machinery.
