I am certified through the Los Angeles County Airport Police Department for (ACAMS) Access Control and Alarm System. I am trained on the monitor to recognize alarms, the severity of the alarm, and to dispatch other (ACAMS) agents to reset the alarm.
Lastly, I am trained to pick up unattended minor upon their arrival at the gate, match their paperwork to their bracelet, communicate with the in-flight crew to verify the minor is on-board, and have the flight crew sign to verify the transfer of the child. Once, I have the minor in my possession, in get in contact with the legal guardian to arrange a pick up.
