The Director of Admissions (the “Director”) is responsible for staffing, training and managing a compliant campus Admissions Team by facilitating the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admission. Essential day-to-day job responsibilities include: Complying with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accredited standards, and institutional policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to student enrollment; Recruiting, training and developing highly talented admissions professionals; Developing referrals and personal leads; Managing lead distribution to Admissions Team; Monitoring the daily/weekly activities of Admissions Team to ensure admissions objectives are met; Conducting second interview of prospective student enrollments; Motivating the Admissions Team to meet its admissions objectives while adhering to the highest ethical standards and compliance requirements; Managing compliance with student enrollment process, including inquiries,phone screens, and interviews; Providing campus and Irvine Support Team with student admissions forecasts; Preparing and managing the department budget; and Other duties as assigned.
Creates Territory Enrollments for 3 campus locations by speaking in High Schools to develop student interest. Conduct High school workshops in 192 High Schools per year. Interview students with their families to see if our programs are a good fit for the students interests. Partner with Guidance counselors through meetings. Analyze statistical recruiting data to provide input where needed. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, ethical practices, and the guidelines of government and accrediting organizations.Support the administration of the campus locations and development of the college’s business plan by recommending recruiting goals, budgets and staffing plans. assist in college public relations activities. Assist the Director in development and maintenance of government and agency contacts.
