Very familiar with common processing equipment such as Mindray CBC machines, A1C readers, lipid panels, UA and microalbumin reads, and others, which aids the learning process for new equipment significantly. Tasked to run the lab fully independently, but also prompt to notify management or other departments of the clinic of any questions, concerns, or other complications. Most importantly, the comfort of all patients is a priority. Familiar with managing high stress interactions and providing a comfortable procedure to the best of my ability.

Phlebotomy:

Provided quality donor care by completing accurate and timely collection of plasma and samples. Responsibilities involved actively prioritizing donors comfort and safety through communication, attention to detail, and patient focus. Knowledgeable using medical software to ensure accuracy and organization of donation information. Staff were always collaborating to ensure work-flow stays efficient, safe, and all center procedures are followed correctly.

Medical Screening:

Greeted and facilitated donations for new and return donors by performing routine tests for each visit, educating new donors on the process, and providing information about the center. Always informed on center functions and donation information to quickly resolve questions or concerns as they came.
