Worked in the Va. Hospital 23 bed Emergency Room assessing patients administrating treatment and collaborating with , for for triaging patients and prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition. Responsible for starting IV lines and assisting with minor procedures and assist with medical treatments for a variety of conditions. Transferred to the Rehabilitation Center where I worked as a Charge Nurse and provided care to Veterans with chronic illnesses or physical disabilities. Also worked in the hospice area providing care and support to patients and their families at the end of life.
