
Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked for the United States Olympic Committee as an Athletic Trainer , responsible for the primary care of interscholastic, intercollegiate and elite athletes involved in the US Field Hockey Futures program and as a Staff Trainer at Yale University. I worked under the indirect supervision of the physician, while traveling, internationally and throughout the United States, I’ve also worked in the field of Sports Medicine/Recreation in Connecticut and Florida including The Town of Palm Beach as a facility supervisor, where I implemented and managed golf and tennis programs for the town I was accountable for supervision of staff, daily cash management and yearly budgets. While in school I was an All American Nominated Athlete. In Nursing School I remaining on the President’s List through out and was awarded my Nursing class Clinical Excellence Award. Other affiliations include SigmaTheta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the National Athletic Trainers Association.
