ROSE LOGUE

I intend to use my background in Education to prepare students to be lifelong learners. I believe learning starts in the senses; "This is the basis of the whole sacramental system: through what we can see, hear, touch, smell, and taste, we are drawn into a spiritual reality beyond ourselves" (Educating in Christ, p. 29). I believe through repetition, comes order and routine, which creates a sense of independence. Memorization is also a key skill I encourage for my students; “The blossoms, if we may call them that, of faith and piety do not grow in the desert places of a memory - less catechesis" (Catechesi Tradendae, 55).
