Additional Information

  • For the last 13 years, I have served on the Board of Directors for the local Central California Food Bank, we serve 5 counties Fresno, Tulare, Kern, Kings, and Madera County. I am currently the HR Chair and past Treasurer signing all large checks and keeping a watchful eye on our budget and our future for expansion. Reviewing audit, controlling expenses, and our financial surplus. We serve over 90,000 families last year we served over 33 million pounds of food. Dealing with donors, and grants, and making sure our Food Bank is sustainable for many more years.
  • From May 2015 to January 2021 I served on the Economic Opportunities Commission, Access Plus Capital as a Loan Committee Member. Assisting low-income mostly minority-owned businesses succeed in obtaining the loans necessary for them to prosper, while at the same time keeping our risk to a minimum, and using Grant funds responsibly.
