· Developed and instituted Immunohistochemistry testing program in JCMH Pathology Department which created a gross revenue stream of approximately 800 thousand a year.

· Reviewed and assisted in the revision of patient billing procedures resulting in substantial increase in revenues.

· Assisted in the transition to MEDITECH paperless report system resulting in a staff reduction of 1.5 FTE for the department.

· Developed a tissue micro array system to cut the cost of Immunohistochemistry testing.

· Developed a System for Immunohistochemistry antibody validation resulting in a saving to JCMH in both time and money.

· Managed a department budget for all consumables as well as maintaining a cost-efficient level of inventory.

· Train staff in histochemistry and Immunohistochemistry procedures and techniques

· Work with Doctors, Patients, and JCMH staff to ensure a high level of patient care.

· Conduct training and ensure compliance with CAP standards.

· Perform CAP inspections of other CAP certified pathology laboratories.
