Secured a Linux-based e-commerce web server against live attacks by configuring and hardening Apache services, enforcing SSL/TLS encryption, and implementing firewall rules to filter malicious traffic.
Utilized Kali Linux for continuous vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. Proactively identifying security flaws such as SQL injection and XSS vulnerabilities to maintain service availability.
Simultaneously fortified the database by encrypting sensitive data, applying access controls, and sanitizing inputs to block SQL injection attempts.
Cybersecurity Participant
The National Cyber League
03.2025 - 04.2025
Competed in the National Cyber League (NCL), a nationwide capture-the-flag competition. Navigated Open Source Intelligence, Cryptography, Network Traffic Analysis, Web Application Exploitation, and Forensics.
Directly applied Python and Bash scripting to automate tasks and solve complex security problems.
Analyzed and exploited vulnerable systems in a hands-on simulated environment. Solidifying my understanding of end-to-end cyber threats and defenses.
